I didn't think anyone would claim this prompt but you did and thank you for doing so! I actually had to google Norway and the places you had them visit, and it was truly a beautiful place. I still have about 7 tabs open just looking through maps and places. I'm curious if you live there or somewhere near, or have visited once because I might be a little envious. Just looking at pictures of the place, the country... you did a great job painting the mood and the setting of the fic. I couldn't have asked for a better place for the fic to take place in.
It does show that you're new in writing EXO but that makes the fic interesting! It's certainly a fresh take of them. It's my first time reading this kind of dynamic between Jongin and Kyungsoo, and though new and unfamiliar, your writing made the situations and events work. You've injected some sass, a bit of dry humor and some good angst in such a short fic, with 2 twists at the end, even! That's crazy! I totally didn't see the "dating" part coming, nor did I see the truffles one... Baek totally had me believing him as well. Since it's Kyungsoo's pov, it's the only view we are provided with and Baek's explanation totally made sense. Reaching the end had me cracking up!! Nice touch to mention the truffles at the beginning too. Everything was tied nicely together by the end, and though my heart aches for Jongin, it's still a very light-hearted fic that made me smile and chuckle.
Overall, it's a very enjoyable read! I'd love to chat and talk to you after Reveals to thank you properly and talk about this fic some more :D I hope you'll write more for the fandom, certainly more Jongin and Kyungsoo fics because your writing is really lovely and we always need more talented people in the ficdom. The more the merrier!
