Dearest writers, it’s the time for what you’ve been waiting for : PROMPT ADOPTION!

We are happily giving you the chance to claim the prompts that not-yet to be claimed (and for the writers who have dropped their prompts before to reclaim their prompt again!)

Here are the rules that you have to pay attention to before adopting a prompt :

1. You can only claim one prompt at at time. You have to finish your first prompt (including posting it and informing it to us) to be able to claim another prompt.

2. The minimal word count is 1,000 words!

3. Your writing period will be until 1st of June, 2018. If by then you can’t finish the prompt, your claim will be dropped automatically and the prompt will be put back into the prompt archive & to be appeared on the next round.

4. You do not have to be anonymous for this; so you’re free to reveal you’re adopting a prompt anytime and to anyone!

5. You can choose from all the unclaimed prompts from 2016 summer rounds & 2017 summer rounds, with conditions:

- The system is first come, first serve. One prompt can only be claimed by one person and the person who gets it is the one who claims it first. If you your first choice is already claimed, the prompt priority for you will be moved to your second choice.
- Prompts with “green” cells are the prompts that are once dropped by the writer during fest period, and will be offered to be re-claimed. If you want that prompt, we’ll have to confirm first to the author whether they’ll be reclaiming the prompt back or not.

6. If you want to contact your prompter to discuss about the prompt you’ve claimed, then tell us! We’ll give you their contact :)

7. You can post your fic in your own account, and you HAVE to inform us about the it through email or twitter dms because we’ll put it in a thread on twitter. In AO3, we’ll give you the collections link. Please don’t forget to put information about the prompt number & exohousewarming name.

8. You have to read the rules we’ve posted before in the intro for 2017 summer rounds, here!

9. Please fill in the survey form here for those who have written for EXOHW before (here) or haven’t written for EXOHW before (here)
